The Lexington Medical Center Department of Public Safety Communications Office dispatches officers on all campuses for emergencies and non-emergencies, communicates with other departments, manages Lynx Mass Notification/Duress systems and Public Safety Alerts and monitors more than 1400 CCTV cameras on Lexington Medical Center’s campuses. The Communication Officers monitor the Lexington Medical Center Helipad, panic alarms, door alarms, infant protection alarms, emergency call boxes and fire alarms.
