Public Safety remains dedicated to offering professional security services to the patients, visitors and employees of Lexington Medical Center. In May 2015, Public Safety obtained the status of Program of Distinction through the International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety (IAHSS). This honor makes Public Safety 1 of 37 security/law enforcement agencies in the United States and Canada to obtain this distinction.
