The Lexington County Health Services District Department of Public Safety is scheduled for a site-based assessment on February 13-15, 2023 as part of a process for reaccreditation which verifies we continue to meet all applicable professional law enforcement standards.

Administered by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), the reaccreditation process requires agencies to comply with state-of-the art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.
